Authentication

Every merchant request needs a live API key belonging to your store.

Create a key

Once your store has API access enabled, create a live key in the store dashboard. Save the secret when it is shown. Keys begin with lk_live_.

Send the key in the X-Api-Key header. Keep it on your backend, outside browser code and source control.

Store access

The key determines the store. You cannot pass a different store ID to access another store's jobs or balance. Disabled stores and revoked keys cannot make authenticated requests.

Dashboard session cookies do not authenticate merchant API requests.
